Flu clinic draws a crowd
MONTROSE Flu season is approaching and the Montrose Department of Health and Human Services is doing its part in disease prevention. On Thursday, 300 people showed up at Friendship Hall during the first hour of the departments annual flu vaccine clinic, which ran until 4 p.m.
Community flu shots available at BCCH
Banner Churchill Community Hospital will provide flu shots for the community tomorrow, Nov. 18 from 8 to 10 a.m. in the main entrance of the hospital. Cost is $25. Please bring your Medicare card so BCCH can bill Medicare for you. For more information, call Linda Loeppky at 423-6548.
Flu shots available from community health nurse
The Community Health Nurse has received a limited supply of flu vaccines and is now taking appointments for high risk persons ages 4 and up who have a chronic illness such as diabetes or asthma to receive the flu shot.
